This was confirmed by Publisher's Weekly online on November 11, 2019. In November 2019, Blake announced via Instagram that HarperTeen would also be publishing her next three books. Her books have been translated into eighteen languages, have been featured on multiple best-of-year lists, and have received many regional and librarian awards. Her Anna Dressed in Blood duology and Goddess Wars trilogy were originally published in English by TorTeen, while the Three Dark Crowns series was published by HarperTeen. Several of her works have been listed on the New York Times' Best Seller's List. Her books stretch over a variety of genres, including horror, fantasy, and contemporary fiction. Kendare Blake lives in Gig Harbor, Washington with her husband, their cat Tyrion Cattister, red Doberman Obi-Dog Kenobi, Rottweiler mix Agent Scully, and naked Sphinx cat Armpit McGee. She is an alumna of Ithaca College in New York and Middlesex University in London. She was adopted at an early age and moved to the United States.
